Growing seeds.

Helping the Earth

Ms. Alissa’s class has been learning about helping the earth! Today we recycled an egg carton to grow seeds for food! We scooped potting soil into into the egg cartons, made a hole for the seeds and placed one in each hole. We’ll use a spray bottle to water them everyday and watch them grow!

Discovering their 5 senses.

Learning about our 5 Senses!

This month in our DD-Elementary Program the students are studying their 5 senses. Our focus this week was on the sense of sight. We got to experiment with a variety of objects that we use our sense of sight for. Students really enjoyed making a sensory bag filled with “eyes” and using the light-box!
